About the CAMP

We invite you to the first international summer camp organized by the Dâmbovița County Basketball Association in partnership with the Târgoviște School Sports Club, entitled “CHINDIA BASKETBALL SUMMER CAMP.”

The camp will take place from August 4 to 8, 2025, in Târgoviște, at the Sports Base of the School Sports Club. This is a fantastic opportunity for young basketball enthusiasts to improve their technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills, training for 5 days alongside both foreign and Romanian coaches, a fitness trainer, a nutritionist, and a sports psychologist.

Special guest: multiple-time champion and iconic American basketball player, CHRISSY GIVENS.

Participation cost:

  • PACKAGE 1 – 950 RON

  • PACKAGE 2 – 1950 RON

Sibling discount: 50% off for the second child (475 RON discount for either package).

What we offer at Chindia Basketball Summer Camp

Basketball Skills & Fundamentals

Players will work on improving their dribbling, shooting, passing, off-the-ball movement, and defensive techniques. Sessions are adapted based on age and skill level.

Tactics & Basketball IQ

Through 5-on-5 drills, game analysis, and small group work, young athletes will learn to read the game, make smart decisions quickly, and position themselves effectively on the court.

Physical Preparation

We focus on coordination, speed, agility, explosiveness, and endurance - everything a complete basketball player needs.

Teamwork & Leadership Development

Campers will learn how to communicate, collaborate, and motivate their teammates. We also include sessions on personal development, self-confidence, and leadership skills

Competitions & Mini Tournaments

Every participant will have a chance to showcase what they’ve learned through organized matches, shootout contests, 3x3 tournaments and an All-Star game.

Guest Coaches & Pro Players

Professional players and experienced coaches will host special sessions and share motivational stories from their careers.

Fun & Team Bonding

Besides the intense training, we offer daily relaxation activities, team games, music, quizzes, and evening gatherings to build friendships.
